In her solo project, accordionist and composer Lea Gasser combines elements of contemporary chamber music, jazz and improvised sound exploration. Electronic effects expand her acoustic instrument and open up new sonic possibilities.

In her solo programme, Lea presents her own compositions and improvised sequences. The music is multi-layered, dynamic and varied, ranging from delicate, restrained passages to powerful, expressive moments. The audience is directly involved in the musical sequences, which appear both structured and spontaneous.

The project demonstrates Lea's ability to fully exploit the expressive possibilities of her instrument. From harmonically complex structures to subtle jazz influences and electronic textures, she creates soundscapes that are surprising and nuanced. A soundtrack for daydreams and nocturnal journeys of the mind.
